Dramatists Play Service has the rights to license the play to theaters on Eve’s behalf. These are limited runs mounted by groups such as not-for-profit theatre companies, organizations and schools. These productions are for-profit ventures and the producers of these shows are not under any obligation to donate proceeds from their shows to anti-violence organizations. If they do it's really a bonus and we are grateful to the many commercial producers who do donate.
IMPORTANT SCRIPT NOTE: When purchasing the rights through Dramatists it is IMPERATIVE that their script is the one used and not the V-Day benefit version, the script from Dramatists does not contain all the same monologue pieces as the V-Day benefit version, and the V-Day monologues are NOT available for professional productions. In addition, only 3 actors may be used when utilizing this script as opposed to the benefit version which allows for more.

"The Vagina Monologues" has been performed on every continent in approximately 76 countries around the world. The Marton Agency has the rights to license the play to international producers and theaters on Eve’s behalf. These are commercial productions, which have extended runs and tend to reach more people.

Cost for rights: Varies, negotiable. To secure a contract, you will be asked to offer a negotiable amount for an advance against a royalty of the gross box office. (Questions about this are welcome.) If you want to present fewer than 10 performances, it is possible to acquire the rights for a negotiable fee per performance.
When submitting a request for international rights to The Marton Agency, please include the following information (or as much of it as possible): the proposed date the production would open, the city and country, the name of the theatre and how many seats it has (or approximate number), who would produce, direct, translate and perform and what they've done before.
