Our OWFI centers, our newspaper and our 2 shelters are still functioning, although not as strongly and frequently as we were planning last year. I am going to city of Kirkuk tomorrow for the openning of our 2nd OWFI center. I have set up a team of women's rights activists in our Baghdad center. A good number of women from the south joined us lately. Al Mousawat newspaper had it's 7th issue out (which was the best one so far). I am being approached by some officials to have a say about the constitution in regards of the women's issue. We will have our own small conference regarding the constitution on Dec 15th.

As for the elections, we have decided to boycott them. No good can come out of elections under occupation.

We appreciate the Vagina Warriors supporting us ... we need it most during these times.
