Web Internship
V-Day currently seeks a web production intern to help maintain and improve v-day's internal web site for organizers, the V-Spot, and its main web site, vday.org. THe ideal candidate is an obsessive web user with a knack for troubleshooting who can patiently provide tech support for V-Day organizers. Candidates with knowledge of HTML, CSS, interface design, graphic design, or online community applications will have the opportunity to help out with web site design.

This is a good opportunity for students of interface design, activists interested in online movement building, or anyone who would like to be intimate with the technological world of V-Day. This internship is mostly off-site; if you live in the New York area, we will arrange occasional in-person meetings or training sessions. Candidates should have a computer and reliable internet connection, and should expect to work 10-20 hours a week on a flexible schedule.
