The training coordinator for the Kentucky Domestic Violence Association, LeTonia was selected as one of the first V-Day: Until The Violence Stops festival organizers following the debut festival in NYC in 2006. LeTonia’s V-Day: Until The Violence Stops: Kentucky, which took place August 2007, was a hugely successful two week festival that took over the state of Kentucky, bringing the issue of violence against women and girls into the forefront of the culture and the community. Through her work at KDVA and her unending dedication to V-Day and ending violence against women and girls, LeTonia exemplifies what it means to be a Vagina Warrior.
