Pat Mitchell has been involved with V-Day since 1999 when she traveled to Bosnia to witness the first production of Eve Ensler’s Necessary Targets. Pat’s insight, dedication and loyalty to V-Day and the mission to end violence against women and girls has been instrumental to the success of the movement over the last 10 years. She is the president and CEO of The Paley Center for Media (formerly the Museum of Television and Radio) in New York and Los Angeles and the International Media Center. Mitchell came to The Paley Center from the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), where she was the first woman and first producer and journalist to hold the position of President and CEO. Pat is a member of the V-Board, a group of extraordinary women who provide vision, leadership, and wisdom to help guide and support V-Day.
