Privacy Policy

V-Day will not sell or license to any unaffiliated third party, any personal contact information that V-Day receives from you. V-Day's list of supporters and V-Day Online Store customers, as well as their e-mail and mailing addresses, will be kept confidential and used only by V-Day and its affiliates.

If you are submitting a personal story to be reproduced on the site, all names of specific persons and places will be changed in an effort to protect the privacy of individuals and organizations.

Other Policies

Executive Compensation
Compensation for officers and key employees will be determined by person(s) who have no financial interest in the determination and who have done a review of comparable positions. From time to time, the Board of Trustees will review compensation as noted in the Bylaws of the Corporation.

Record Retention Policy
Records of V-Day, including those on electronic media, should be maintained in an accurate and complete manner to allow V-Day to conduct its affairs in accordance with proper business practices and to comply with applicable record retention requirements.

Under no circumstances shall records that are potentially subject to a known or reasonably anticipated investigation by a funder, government agency or relevant in pending or threatened litigation involving V-Day be destroyed or discarded.

Whistle Blowing Policy
V-Day is committed to high standards of ethical, moral and legal business conduct. In line with this commitment, and V-Day’s commitment to open communication, this policy aims to provide an avenue for employees to raise concerns and reassurance that they will be protected from reprisals or victimization for whistle-blowing.

This whistle-blowing policy is intended to cover protections for you if you raise concerns regarding V-Day, such as concerns regarding incorrect financial reporting and unlawful activity that are not in line with V-Day’s policy, including serious improper conduct.

Harassment or victimization for reporting concerns under this policy will not be tolerated. Every effort will be made to treat the complainant’s identity with appropriate regard for confidentiality.
