On the heels of its first tour, Dear Everything: A Musical Uprising for the Earth is coming to BAM in NYC on Earth Day (April 22) 2026 – featuring the iconic Jane Fonda in the role of narrator.

This fierce new folk-pop song cycle is the result of the monumental creative collaboration between V, director Diane Paulus, producer-songwriter Justin Tranter, singer-songwriter Caroline Pennell, and songwriter and music producer Eren Cannata. It explores how young people are navigating the climate crisis and facing the prospect of a future they are being told may not exist. Dear Everything follows a group of adults in a small town willing to sacrifice their forest for money, and Sophia, a teenager who attempts to stop it by galvanizing her peers. Their determination to save the forest unleashes powers they never knew they had.

With an electrifying score, Dear Everything is a thrilling, raucous call to collective action addressing the most pressing issue of our day. The piece is brought to life by a cast of ten and a narrator who, in this engagement, is played by Jane Fonda. A local youth choir will join the production, backing up the cast.
