OBR THAILAND CONTINUES TO RISE ON INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS DAY

December 10, 2020

Shared by Matcha Phorn-In (OBR Thailand coordinator)

V-Day Thailand together with Sangsan Anakot Yawachon Development Project are leading the One Billion Rising Movement inThailand.

This amazing One Billion Rising video was filmed during the 72 year anniversary celebration of International Human Right Day. More importantly, it was the last day of the 16 days of activism Against Gender Based Violence.

The event was hosted by MAP Foundation, Thailand which aims to raise awareness on gender based violence and domestic violence that impact on migrant worker women and children’s lives and their reality.

Migrant worker women rise to demand access to social services, justice systems and to living with dignity.

Special thank to Map Foundation for invited our team and also thanks Map Foundation once again for always involving the One Billion Rising campaign in combating violence against women, children and LGBTIQ during their advocacy and their events.
