The Voice of Domestic Workers (VODW), UK invite you to One Billion Rising: Rising Gardens – an online event on 14th February (Sunday) from 2.30 – 4.00 PM (UK Time).
Join V (formerly known as Eve Ensler) Founder of One Billion Rising (OBR),OBR Global Director Monique Wilson and OBR organisers and advocates across the UK for an afternoon of sharing, presentation, artistry and celebration .
This event is hosted by Marissa Begonia, Director and Founding member of The Voice of Domestic Workers and Rossana Abueva of One Billion Rising, UK.
In the heart of United Kingdom and across the planet, Front-line Workers – Healthcare workers, Domestic Workers, Homecare workers, Hotel workers, sex workers, cleaners and farmworkers are fighting against the global pandemic COVI19. Like the Earth, they are the least valued and unprotected.
We must RISE to value, protect and uplift our front-line workers’ living and work condition who are doing essential work. We must RISE for the Earth, which is the most essential to all life and healthy COVID19 FREE living.
