While thousands across the world condemn racism and demand justice at global Black Lives Matter protests, City of Joy is mourning and rising against racism. The City of Joy community is revolted over the police killing of George Floyd and others and condemns both racism and police brutality. We demand justice for those whose lives have been sabotaged after Floyd was laid on the ground and handcuffed with his neck pinned under the knee of a white Minneapolis police officer.
