October 28th in the Philippine is National Women’s Day of Protest, a historic event in 1983 that saw 10,000 women marching on the streets to demand democracy and rights amid the devastation brought of the Marcos dictatorship. When I was told that the theme for One Billion Rising 2021 was Rising Gardens, it just clicked. I'd been aching to connect with nature♡ This morning, OBR Singapore inaugurated the theme with a visit to the Green Up Singapore farm. I even got to plant a Moringa stem in the little OBR patch Lalitha Nair has allowed us to have!
